If you received an artwork from us, you MUST credit our groupAND the member(s) who fulfilled your request. Either at the beginning of the chapter of your story in which it is used or at the end of that particular chapter as well as any other grouped credits for your story.
An example on how to credit: "Credits to @epi.minimalist and *instagram username of the member* from Instagram for this art scene/cover/intro/outro/splash etc."
This being said, you are not allowed to unfollow us on Instagram after receiving your request. In case you do unfollow us, you will be blocked forever and will no longer be able to request anything from us. The artwork request will also be revoked and anywhere you reuse/post the artwork will be subject to a copyright infringement strike by Episode Minimalist as well as the member(s) who completed it.
We are working so hard in fulfilling your requests. Crediting us is not only a good gesture, but it will also help other writers to find out about us and also request from us.
Terms of Use for Story Reviews:
Reviews are meant to help you as an author, for you to know what you need to improve for better quality stories. If you received a review with a score lower than you expected to, remember that we are not in any way trying to degrade you nor belittle you as an individual.
As with all of our other requests, if you received a review from us, you are not allowed to unfollow us.
Here's our review rubric in case you're wondering why you got a particular score:
Plot Execution: /20 Before you can start writing a story, you need to think of a plot. Your score in this aspect depends on how well you executed your plot in the first three chapters. The flow of the story should be smooth and there should be no plot holes.
Spelling/Grammar: /15 This covers the flow of the dialogues, use of punctuation marks, capitalization, grammar and spelling. We usually do not deduct a point in the score when there are possible typos, but we will point it out in the review.
Length: /10 A short chapter is about 2-5 minutes reading time. A desirable length is 10-15 minutes to keep readers engaged. A long chapter is about 20-25 minutes or more.
Directing: /20 If you use basic directing because your story doesn't require advanced directing, we don't deduct points from the highest possible score you can get in this aspect which is 20. If this is the case, the score depends on the zooms, transitions, speechbubble placements and spot directing. However, if you decided to use advanced directing because your story requires it, the score depends on the zooms, transitions, use of overlays, speechbubble placements, spot directing, animations.
Overlays: /10 If you have lots of overlays in your story, the score depends on the use of overlays (such as limbs, clouds, blood, phone etc.) and the tappables (includes, tappable dressing game) If you have little to no overlays, your score in this aspect will be perfect. This is why the score of others might be higher than yours or yours are higher than theirs.
Music and Sound: /10 If the story do not have sounds and music, the score will be perfect in this aspect, the reason behind this is because there are some readers who prefer reading stories without sounds and music. If you decided to put music and sounds in your story, the score will depend on how well put the music and sounds are and if they fit the scenes.
Choices: /15 Depends on how engaging the choices are. This doesn't mean that the choices need to matter.
